Tutoring

Master the Test offers two forms of tutoring, in addition to our ACT and PSAT Crash Courses: small group tutoring and one-on-one private tutoring. For both, we partner students with one of our experienced teachers.

Why tutoring?

Is your student struggling academically? Does your student need individualized help in a particular test area? Is your student striving to reach a score above a 30? Has your student hit a plateau in their test prep? If so, perhaps tutoring is the solution for you. We can provide help for ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP, writing, and many core subject offerings. This type of instruction provides additional in-depth analysis and practice in the areas where students need it most.

One of the greatest benefits is that tutoring boosts confidence and helps to reduce test anxiety.

Private Tutoring

The benefits of one-one-one tutoring are many:

  • We partner your student with an experienced teacher in the subject for one-on-one instruction.
  • It is personalized to your student's needs to help maximize his or her testing potential.
  • Individual instruction frees students from the distraction of others.
  • We offer the convenience of building around your student's schedule, and can include updates and progress reports.
  • The instruction provides problem-specific strategies for your student.

Our tutors book quickly, so please contact us as soon as you have registered for your test date.

A Master the Test Tutoring Session

We would highly recommend Master the Test to anyone looking for excellent ACT tutoring. Our son worked with Mrs. Walls and brought his English score up to 34. An 11 point improvement on his first retake, then another 3 points on his second retake. Mrs. Riley and Zac were also great tutors in science and math. Our son’s composite test score went up 7 points from June test to February test.
