PSAT Classes

About the PSAT

It is first and foremost a preliminary SAT exam. But for many students, its importance is centered on the fact that it is the one and only exam that allows the highest-achieving students in the nation to qualify for National Merit —a title and honor that can, for many students, garner larger amounts of scholarship than any other exam. The PSAT is the sole factor for determining National Merit eligibility.

Class Information

Each Crash Course addresses the following focus areas: the structure and predictable elements of the exam, direct instruction over core content, tips for attacking specific question types, the all-important timing of this exam, and timed-practice over real PSAT test questions. Participants in the Crash Course will also receive a book that contains full practice exams complete with answers and explanations with tips for additional practice.

Last year in our first year of PSAT test prep, we guided seven students to National Merit Semifinalist status.  As a result, those students were eligible for a combined $840,000 in scholarships.
