About Us

We specialize in top-quality standardized test preparation. We created our company in 2014, as we saw a great need for additional avenues for students to build test-taking skills and gain familiarity with standardized tests. We wanted to bring the vast knowledge of our combined experience in the classroom and teaching an elective ACT Review course to a larger number of students. As a test-prep business, we host Crash Courses prior to each national ACT exam and PSAT exam. Our goals are to instill confidence, remove fear and doubt, and provide mastery of key concepts.

Pamela Riley

Pamela Riley

I currently teach Pre-AP Geometry, Pre-AP Algebra II, and ACT Review at Edmond North High School (2016 site teacher of the year). I grew up near Shawnee, OK. I have previously taught Algebra I, II, III, and AP Statistics. I graduated from Oklahoma State University and have completed graduate course work towards my Master’s in Secondary Education at the University of Central Oklahoma. I am married and have two sons. We are very active in sports and attend Acts 2 United Methodist Church.

Teri Walls

I teach ACT Review and AP Literature at Edmond North High School (2014 site teacher of the year). I grew up in Canadian, Texas, and I received a Bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Tech University. I later earned a Master’s in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s in English from the University of Oklahoma. I have taught English at all of the following levels: 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, and college. I am married and have two sons. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, traveling, gardening, and cheering on the Thunder. We attend New Covenant Methodist Church.

Ruth Zumwalt

Ruth Zumwalt

Ruth Zumwalt (1971 - 2019) was the epitome of an educator. She spent 20 years in the classroom, with her focus primarily on teaching high school biology. She spent her last two years as Edmond Public School's Science Content Specialist. Anyone who ever met Ruth knew that she was first and foremost an educator and an avid champion of women in education.

As a founding member of our company, she was visionary in every way, and we will continue to honor her memory by providing the highest quality test preparation for students.

Associate Instructors

Our Associate Instructors assist in teaching our Crash Courses and tutor as part of our private tutoring program in their specialized fields.

Jill Bloyd

I am currently starting my eighteenth year of teaching, teaching Pre AP Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 at Edmond North High School. In my eighteen years of teaching math, I have taught Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Pre AP Geometry and now Algebra 2. I grew up in Stillwater and earned my bachelor’s degree in Math Education from Oklahoma State University. I later earned my master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Educational Leadership. I enjoy hanging out with my husband and two sons, running, going to sporting events and watching HGTV.

Jordan Hopper

I teach IA English II, English II, and Professional Internship at Edmond North High School. I previously taught English at Cheyenne Middle School (2020 site teacher of the year). I grew up here in Edmond and attended John Ross Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School, and Edmond North before earning my Bachelor’s degree in English Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. I am married and have two children. My daughter is a graduate of North and works full-time at Central Middle School as their library media aid, and my son is a senior at North. I love spending time with my family, taking my dog on walks, and writing poetry.

Trey Riley

I am currently the Director of the Finance Academy at John Marshall High School, and I teach Accounting I and II, Principles of Finance, Foundations of Business, and previously taught English III, Creative Writing, and Marketing. I have also spent more than 20 years in the business world including as a small business owner. I have a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Finance, and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Joe Santos

I teach Pre-AP and on level Algebra 2 at Oklahoma Christian School. I have a degree in Economics and a Masters in Education. I taught various levels of math in California for 15 years, where I was staff member of the year, before coming to Oklahoma. I have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience for most levels of math, including ACT prep.

Elizabeth Scott

I taught AP Literature and English II at Edmond North High School, bringing over 15 years of classroom experience in English education. My career began in Lewisville, TX, teaching 6th grade English Language Arts before my husband and I returned home to Oklahoma. I have been a tutor with Master the Test for many years, and it remains one of my favorite ways to work with students. I enjoy traveling, reading, running, and spending time with my family.

Kristy Self

I teach AP English Language and Composition at Stillwater High School. I grew up in Stillwater and attended Oklahoma State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in English. I later earned my Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Throughout my 16 years of teaching, I have taught 9th-12th grade English and I am a National Board Certified teacher. I enjoy attending concerts, cheering on OSU, crafting with my mom, and spending time with my family.

Katie Tewell

I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry in Putnam City and Edmond Public Schools. Currently, I teach 7th Grade Math and Algebra I at Stillwater Middle School. I have my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math from the University of Central Oklahoma. I love spending time with family and friends, spoiling my dog - Nelson, playing volleyball, and running!

Brittany VanCleave

I am currently head principal at the Edmond Central Middle School. Before working at Central, I taught STEM Precalculus, Pre-AP Precalculus, Precalculus, and coached Girl’s Tennis at Edmond North High School for seven years. Growing up, my family moved all across the country, but I consider Ohio home. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Education at the University of Alabama Birmingham and just recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Master’s in Educational Leadership. My family is very important to me! In our free time, my husband, stepdaughter, and puppy love to be outdoors, playing sports, and taking adventures around the city! We are very active in our church and like to volunteer when we can.
